Choosing a Highland Lynx Kitten

The Highland Lynx kitty has a remarkable similarity to its wilder counterpart the Bob cat. There are different types of Highland Lynx which have different appearances. Some have long ruffled ears, This species tends to reminds us of the ears of a bobtail cat. Yet there are some other Lynx who have very short hair and a beautiful coat with distinct markings and spots.

These two types of Lynx breed tend to have long hair or short hair are different lengths, sizes and weight. Some have small tails. Others have long tails which are the size of domestic cats. Some breeders have the opinion that if the tail is shortened, the Lynx may have extra beauty of its own and be more rare. The cats even differ in colors and patterns. There are varieties of colors to ting their bodies. Some are of ash color, some have glossy spots like leopards, and some are even red, cream, chocolate or blue.
