Litter Training a Highland Lynx Kitten
Highland Lynx should be trained use a toilet instead of using a litter box, it tends to create a mess in litter boxes. If properly trained the cat can easily perch on the pan in the latrine and does its business accordingly.
If its owner cant train it to use a toilet, then there should be a box full of litter for the cat to use at its disposal. The kitten will first smells it and then comes to the conclusion that it is the same litter expelled by him it will continue to use the box.
A litter box should be made of sturdy material and not easily breakable, so when the kitten jumps on it will not break or bend. Again the colors can attract the kittens to it as well. A Highland Lynx kitten will need about two weeks to be trained. You must remain patient with your cat it is accustomed to using a litter box. Always maintain a fresh box for your cat if the box is dirty it will not use it and will tend to go elsewhere.
